Does my 2010 3.2 V70 Have TPMS?
Hi,
I just booked an apt to have new winter tires installed and the fellow on the phone is suggesting that my vehicle DOES have TPMS...me, I'm not so sure. Is there an easy way to confirm this? |

It's an option AFAIK, not standard equipment - though that does depend on spec level. Browsing through 'My Car' or the options should help.

Not all TPMS have the fancy valves, have seen a few with normal valves also
Let some air out of one of your tyres and see if a warning comes up on the dash |

Thanks - I caved and read my owner's manual :-)
Apparently all of the US V70's for 2010 were equiped with the function but not the Canadian models. Can't say I'm too dissappointed. I did double check - computer does not advise of tire pressure and valves are normal rubber issue. But now I'm wondering...if the tires get equiped with TPMS...can I use VIDA/DICE to add this feature to my car? I'm curious more than anything else as I don't particularly want the function but the engineer in me is dying to find out. |
