Default MOT regulations brake discs

Hello,
Is it fine to fit drilled/grooved brake discs without any impact on MOT regulations? Or does it open up issues?
Cheers

Shouldn't make any issues on MOT. They would check warping and disc thicknes only.

I'd personally go for drilled as they dissipate the heat better apparently. Both grooved and drilled both increase friction and also reduce brake pad resin build up (if you have an automatic gearbox and tend to be glazing the pads in slow traffic all the time, you may well notice a difference).

Popular belief is that drilled and grooved brakes disperse water better. Apparently not enough to really make any significant difference at all.

There is no issues with fitting these for mot purposes as long as there fitted correctly, same as normal discs really and giving a good brake.
