145 DL auto 1974

Just testing the water to see if anybody is interested in my 145 dl auto (7 Seater)in white.
Has mot until March 2014 and taxed until end of October 2013.
Mechanically the car seems very good, has been my daily driver for the past year with no problems, had both sills repaired for last mot.
The bodywork and interior need work: rust patches and bubbling in all the usual places, wings, arches, doors. The tailgate is probably the worst but I have a rust free replacement from an early 245 that needs stripping and painting.
Both front seats have rips, could probably repair passenger seat, but the driver's will probably need retrimming, back seat is good. One door card needs replacing but I have a good spare to fit, I also have replacement carpets, various bits of trim and panels from the boot floor, though not sure they are in any better condition than what is in there.
There is a big folder full of history and paperwork, showing 117500 on the clock.
All in all a good runner, just needs tidying up.

Good to see one of these in fairly good nick (O.K. it's got a few issues) and still a daily driver, and for people to see it out and about - and hopefully appreciate the importance of the 145 in Volvo's model development and their commercial success. [There can't be many still in daily use; how many are still registered with DVLA (taxed /SORNed?).] I saw an identical (tho' manual) one about 13 years ago with a few things wrong with it and now regret not taking a chance, am sorry I never had one and - with two cars - I can't get one now. If you don't sell it I imagine you'll continue to keep and run it, and your price should put off any scrappers or racers. Good luck with it.
