General: 70: V70 d7

Hi all, hope you are well, I am the proud owner of a 2002 v70 2.4 D5, it had 117k on the clock but has recently been serviced and had a new cam belt. I have taken it to a Volvo main dealer today for a winter check, they have given me a list of items "in red" that need attention, namely the power steering pump leaking (upon inspection there appears to be leakage from the hose top and bottom), brake caliper flexi hose, anti roll bar has play and a steering column internal boot is beating insecure.
I'm new to volvo and wondered if you chaps/ladies could provide advice?

Hi Mate, welcome to the world of Volvo's, with 117k on the clock and a recent sevice and cambelt it sounds like you've found a good one, also good that they've given you a headsup on what needs doing rather than leaving you a surprise for later. None of what you list sounds too bad but you'll get the best advice in the appropriate section for your model, if you scroll down the front page to the technical sections the ninth one down is 'S80 '98-'06 / S60, V70 & XC70 '00-'07 General' which should cover your model, there's also a diesel section lower down the page. As hints to posting your queries I see you've already done the basic thing (that a lot of people forget) which is to include the details of your car, you may also get a better response if you split your queries up into seperate threads, so one for the steering pump, one for the brake hose, and so on.
