Default XC90 driveshaft bolts torque setting?

After having the inner joint on my passenger side driveshaft replaced and the same with the outer joint on the drivers side I have now noticed a click from the drivers side when changing gear and accelerating/slowing down. So I bought a pair of the XC90 bolts just to rule out the driveshaft bolts being loose or stretched.

But I have seen a couple of different torque settings in various posts here and elsewhere. 50nm and 39nm. Can someone tell me the correct one for my car-

2008 S60 D5.

PS, and can someone please direct me to the correct forum for my model year? This is the "up to 07" forum. There is an S80 06 on forum but no mention of S60 from 07 to 10? Probably missing it for too much looking I expect!

Many thanks

Did you see this post? roughly on the same theme you’re talking about, not sure what year the S60R is though.

Yeah, 35nm....50nm....90 or 120 degrees! I hadn't seen that post but have seen a few like it. What worries me is if the originals stretch then putting too high a torque on the new ones might do the same to them.

Big difference between 35 and 50 I am thinking.

I have listed as 35NM +90deg for standard bolt.
50NM for bolt with 'rubber cone'- no further angle stage.

Just tighten it up 1 grunt, if the noise is gone, you were right, no better feeling than that........ YEEEHAAAAWW!! BANG! BANG! Y'ALL!!.
