Wales: - Anything happening in South Wales?

Hiya guys, as per the title really. I'm new to this 'ere community and indeed new to Volvos so was just wondering if there are any meets planned within day trip distance?

Are there any members in or near South Wales who'd be interested in a meet?

Alternatively....

Is there anything going on in or around Bristol?

Is there anything going on around Gloucester or Cheltenham?

Do the Midlands bunch ever migrate South West at all, maybe around the Worcester or better yet Tewkesbury areas?

Well I know there are plenty on here that live in the surrounding areas .

C'mon peeeps lets at least get some names of who is interested.

Maybe a meet elsewhere or a short road run and some grub at a pub?

Hi Ricco & Dai. I am surprised no one in S Wales wants to meet up. Maybe not the weather to have an outdoor meet but up for it in the spring.

Hello Cabrio, Dai and Ricco, I am from Bridgend and new to Volvo ownership - a 2002 c70 convertible. It seems nothing has happened over the last two years and appreciating ownership and interest might well have changed in the meantime, so this may be to no avail. I am involved in the organisation of a local classic car show which will take place on 21 June, not far from J37 M4 ( the last westbound Porthcawl turn off). Of course, such cars as mine are normally considered too modern, but I might just be able to encourage admittance subject to knowing what interest there would be and what cars were involved. One off meeting some time in the future - yes I know, but might just be worth mentioning to see what can be done if anyone does indeed want to take part in something like this. Thanks folks and kind regards.

There is a meet planned at Llandrindod wells lake on the 9th March. I believe it is due to kick off at 1pm and I will be there.
