Yes mate I am in the Navy, but we were told several years ago when I first went onto the ex-wife's policy that me being in the forces would be held against me and added a daft amount onto her policy! If you knew any Navy boys then your idea of us being responsible would change rather quickly lol!!!

Search your postcode and be surprised!
I was VERY surprised. Apparently my Salford post code is 80/100 ranked on vehicle crime, and my old Moss Side post code is 34/100 ranked! Mainly surprising because I didn't think car crime was that prevalent in either area, but Moss Side is surrounded by bad car crime areas, where the residents of Moss Side go to steal cars I've left my doors (car and house) unlocked in Moss Side for days on end before now, without any bother at all.

Ancoats in the late 90s, they would smash your window just to have a better look inside to see if there was anything worth nicking.

EDIT:
http://www.ukcrimestats.com/LSOA/E01005682

This local area is almost entirely secure vehicle parking, with cul-de-sacs, so I have no idea how it could be ranked 80/100 for vehicle crime. That site presumably needs work!?

23, been driving 6 years with 6 years no claims bonus, decent post code, driving a T4 with lowered suspension and a remap declared and 18,000 miles per year - Cheapest price was £587 from Admiral. Most expensive was £3152 from Kwik Fit

With 6,000 miles per year it's only £413

Still, for a modified fast car at my age £600 isn't bad at all IMO.

I did that crimstats postcode search too

28.9 / 100 for car crime - thats surprisingly good.
0 / 100 for robbery, for shoplifting, and bicycle crime - which presumably explains why my next door neighbour leaves his bike unlocked on his front garden overnight to save time in the morning. He's been doing this for ages and hasnt lost it yet

I've just done it for my area and the total amount of car crimes in 2013 is a massive 2 that's 2 car crimes for a whole year

And a grand old total of 212 crimes committed for the whole of 2013 oh it's rough here!!!
