Just sorted my vibration I was telling you about Tim. Changed both lower engine mounts and moved the rear lower mount covering plate a couple of mm forwards. Rattle is now gone...... Also checked the two subframe bolts, because I became paranoid after your adventure, and they were both fine

Where abouts are the subframe bolts so I can check mine? A photo would be extremely beneficial!
Thanks.

As requested
Hi yah the subframe bolts are accessable through the holes in the lower arms you can get to it from behind the front wheel and reaching you will need and extension bar and rachet it is a 17mm bolt I had to pop the socket and extension through the hole then attach the rachet I then used a scaffold pole to give extra leverage I got a couple of turns out of it.
http://i1275.photobucket.com/albums/...psce712426.jpg http://i1275.photobucket.com/albums/...ps682b73b5.jpg I also tightend the 4 bolts which hold the centre member to the underside of the car (this is what gatos tightened on his) the engine mounts are attached to this member. Excuse the banana I refuse to pick up a spanner for a while http://i1275.photobucket.com/albums/...ps1df33b99.jpg http://i1275.photobucket.com/albums/...psfde57e7d.jpg |
