Going in on Monday for a check up along with a wheel bearing replacement, thankfully both covered by warranty.

I didn't know about the setting in the cars menu so will have to have a play around when I get my air con topped up for the summer.

My air con was turned off over the winter and it's now not blowing cold, which I've read can happen. I should have left it on all the time but the missus kept turning it off, so gave in in the end!!

Has anyone tried the DIY kits available from Halfords? It seems to have great reviews, lasts for several top ups and you get £10 back on the empty bottle.

Yes, just done mine. You need to buy the adaptor with gauge separately at £19.99 if you don't already own one and they threw in a can of air con cleaner for free. Quite easy to do and once you purchase the adapter, you can keep a check on it periodically! Mine is blowing at about 5c now, icy cold!!

Was the canister of cleaner a local special offer? I may try to blagg one too

Not sure if it was a specific deal for the branch i was in? I bought the canister and adapter and the guy went over to the stand and grabbed one and said it was free!
