Default Volvo service costs

We all complain about service costs, but can anyone tell me why the 1 and 2 year service for my V50 2.0 petrol costs £225 but the 3 year is quoted at £380 (Phew!) ?
It's doubly annoying when it has only covered 10K (bought it used at 2 years with virtually nothing on clock).

New Platinum Spark Plugs on that service maybe?

They last for quite a few years but when they need replacing can be costly

Mine is due for those on it's next service, it's a more costly one

Servicing cost are relatively high but don't Volvo throw in a year's recovery (including European travel) if you have the car serviced at a dealer? That would account for about £100 of the cost.

Default Spark Plugs

I'd discounted those - I didn't realise they were quite so expensive. I'm out of date!

Yes but only for the car. I still have to pay out for my second vehicle which also covers the Volvo. Guess i call both and see who arrives first when i have the choice.
