Default how do you put the rubber on?

I have had trouble with trying to get the boot lid to fit comfortably. It shuts and locks okay but never fits flush due to the rubber seal. How should the seal be fitted. Is it suppose to be mounted along the protruding edge (lip) of the boot hatch opening. Or does it sit in the recess?

Its probably easiest to show you a couple of photos to explain how it goes on.
As mentioned above I would recommend using the 3m glue from Brook-house. Good luck.

Thanks for that. I think mine was never fitted properly all the way around the edge. I have ordered clue from Brookhouse to give it another go.

You will also need to consider drainage from the boot lip area. The P1800 needs careful thought when it comes to the run-off of rain water!!
