I had a cherished transfer planned and had provided the certificate of entitlement passed to dealer four weeks before collection. Then on day of collection was told that Volvo leasing needed to ok the transfer which cost me another £25. Two weeks on I still haven't got my new reg on the car....

So is it just the Dvla transfer cost (£85?) you need to pay and a new set of plates made?

Good idea. It'll stop them form taking it for a track day before you collect.................After all, they registered it without your permission so they appear to have little respect and am left wondering what else they'll do........

I had bought the plate and transfer fee included, but dealer didn't recognise it was a lease car and had to have an additional permission from Volvo, that cost me another £25. Still haven't received "permission" to put it on my car
