Question Aircon issues pressure but no cool

HI guys
regassed and maintained pressure in the 2009 V50 2.0 aircon for several weeks but the air is not cold on any vent
tried the set high andlow etc etc but nothing changes.
clutch engages OK...no leaks no green dye on anywhere I can see.
Is there a temperature thermostat or something not functioning ... advice appreciated before I start replacing the expensive bits
thanks

If it was a temp sensor or motor failure on one of the motors that control the hot/cold mixer you would still be getting variation on one side of the car.

Condenser failure means a leak. Had mine replaced and air conditioning worked, but only for a short while as the compressor clutch was not engaging.

Fixed the clutch with a temporary shim, but it was quickly obvious that the compressor was close to seizing.

Looking at sourcing a compressor from the internet and even with import duty it looks as if I can get one for less than £180 as opposed to something over £650.

Condensers can be sourced cheaply from ebay etc. Plenty of copies available.

Unhappy Thanks for the advice

funny thing is the clutch engages.. no pressure loss but still no cold air on either ports L or R
Tried the set high and low and interchange ports but still no cold air only air from outside on the cold setting

puzzled ????

may be the system has air in it ...so leaked some out of the hp side ...but still none ???
