Am about to refit new timing gears to cam and crank (B18B Engine) . Just wanted to check which way the hub goes onto the crank after the gear has been installed. My hub has a chamfer on one end. Does this chamfer face the crank timing gear - or does it face forward towards the radiator?
Not sure if this would make much difference - but I suppose the chamfer is there for a reason. Thanks |

The chamfer faces towards the radiator,it is there to ease the oil seal onto the hub.

Thanks Andy.
Now I am all set. Hopefully the parts will arrive tomorrow morning- so I will able to get it all together so that I can attend the show at Hatton on Sunday. Regards. |
