V70 dog cage - Page 2

I have a v70 and first purchased the Volvo dog guard but soon realised that my Border Collie could get around the sides. I then found a dog box on eBay made for the v70. I have been very pleased as it keeps the dog cool and safe. It was not cheap but have a look at the web site www.Lintran.co.uk.
I have nothing to do with this company but you will not be dissapoited as it will suit your dog as well. It has two lockable doors and when your dog shakes the water and mud is contained in the box and not thrown all around the interior of your car. They also have a very good resale price. Keep an eye on Agilitynet / fleamarket as they come up there sometimes.

We had ours made by MMG and can vouch for their construction.

We went from tailgate guards to full cages after seeing a 940 rear-ended which crumpled it just enough to break the rear side window. Luckily it was an old dog in it which just lay there, ours would have been out and in the traffic.
