Calling all T5 owners

So I haven't had much look sorting this issue out through other V50 owners so I hope that anyone with a post 2004 T5 engine can help.

Have a read of the above thread to see this problem I have. I have spoken with the local stealers and they are looking into it. My regular inde has never heard of the problem, but another local inde has and says he can sort it but not for a week or two.

I really just want to know who has had this issue and if replacing the O-rings on the oil pickup pipe etc in the sump fixed this problem.

I am really strugalling for info so anything you can offer will help!

Just so you know the car is a 2004MY V50 T5 220bhp manual.

This is getting harder by the minute. None of the dealers in my area have encountered this problem. Looks like the indies have but cant get me in until the back end of next week.

So any one got a write up on this job? Looks like I'm going to have to muddle through...

This rings a bell as being an issue on the older p1 v70s and 850s, never heard of it on a p2 though!
