I'd definitely be interested in them, we could work something out?
Cheers
Becareful if you have the DVD changer in the boot, it is NOT a factory system, but a Volvo UK system, most of the parts and the Headphones are very different and unlikely to be interchangable, make sure you ask for the correct thing, note the "factory" systems have a single DVD drive in the front seat/console armrest.

Hope it helps

Ok thanks, so being simple then, I need to make sure that wherever the headphones come from they are a "brand match" for the DVD player in The boot, and the screens in the back, that should mean they are compatible then???

The boot mounted kit is FM, and I think uses Thompson or Panasonic headphones as standard, the "Factory" headphones are IR, and I think are rebranded VDO or Visteon units.

Have a search on the forums on headphones, there is lots of info, esp on alternative brands and what frequencies to look for.

Hope it helps

Hi,

Thinking about it, you are right. Mine is from a Volvo UK fit (1x DVD player in the boot and 2x headrest screens).

Ping me your mobile number if you like and next time I go home to Derby I could pop round for you to try them if you can't get sorted before ...

Works brilliantly

Just seen your post, would love to see photos as believe passengers using their own headphones is the way to go.
