I think its the blackberry metallic colour, but it does look black in some light!
These saloons are cheap as they are very thirsty and not very practical, plus thats the underpowered 2.5l. I had a manual one which I found underpowered, plus I bet an autobox saps the power even more. Still, a good quality car for the money though, fab ride quality too |

Had to add my 2p worth as my ID name comes from the 960 i owned exactly the same motor as this one with the maroon piping around the seats, they do look something else inside and what a superior sound system the best of ANY Volvo model, sounded like a Hi Fi disco on the move.
My model was the 2.5 and was not underpowered even with it`s auto box as the 2.5 has a lower back axle ratio and is as quick off the mark as the 3 litre 201bhp motor the 2.5 is 170bhp complete with Sports Mode and all that! and will return 30mpg at 70mph......but have to admit if you drive above this speed you can actually see the fuel gauge move down at *** speeds on the Mway......you can even whisper to your passenger at this speed and be heard easily.......a real no stress motor. I had the car for 4yrs and didn`t spend much on it just ordinary maintenance, so although the fuel is expensive in the long run it is probably an economical car! My 960 also my 850 T5 behind it. This is 2004
