Hi Chaps

Sorry for digging this topic back up .
New Volvo V50 owner here with door problems

Thru searching I've found out the root of our problem is the door connector .

I've given it a clean and a wiggle which seems to have sorted it somewhat .

My question is can the connection door side be taken out without removing door card so I can clean it at the rear of the connector .

Also instead of replacing the connector for the new gold plated one can the whole connector be cut out and the wires soldered back up .

I also own an Alfa Romeo and thought only they had electrical problems.

Thanks

Paul
