Exhaust... an S60R cat back will fit with only minor tinkering and you can pick them up pretty cheap 2nd hand.

Brakes... now there's the XC90 336mm upgrades but you need 17" Amalthea or Pegasus wheels to fit over the calipers.
There's also the 320mm conversion that'll go straight on and comes from the facelift T5 model. Both will be vastly superior to the 280mm (possibly 305mm but I doubt it) setup you have now.
So is the 320mm set up the same that is used on the focus st? As I know the v50/s40 T5 and D5 set up is the same as the focus st. Main reason for asking is if this is the case I'll take my custom set up off my mondeo and bolt it onto this one.

The caliper is the same but I believe the integrated hanger's holes will be in a different position.

Other tuners are available and it makes no difference to me who the OP uses.

Let's not spoil a potentially good thread with a poo-chucking session.
Indeed there will be many horror stories with most tuners (not all) BUT (and it is a big but) it is how that tuner deals with said horrors. Most will deal with it in a professional way BUT some (HLM) will simply bury their heads in the sand and tell you to fookoff.

Now being a members forum is it not our duty to make sure potential customers (of said sh1te mechanics) know all the facts.

Funny how you mention that "What happened with particular individuals" yet you make it your business to bring the likes of HLM unwary customers..

Please also remember HLM was banned from this forum for a reason and if I'm not mistaken he is also banned from VPC and T5D5..

Wont leave it will you.

Hamish isn't banned from VPC, unlike yourself.

And what would be your issue with me mentioning "particular indiviuals" then? If you mean the incident with Chris' S70, i know a'll about it. I've sat with Chris in a pub and listened to the whole thing. But as I said, its none of my business considering it happened 8 yesrs ago, long before I owned a Volvo.

Now, back on topic....

You should try VPC mate, I think you get banned if you stay on topic lol.

I'm actually trying to keep the thread on topic but someone like to stir things up...

I was never banned from VPC.I never rejoined after the big crash, not that you would know seeing as it was before your time..

Its good to see Hamish is back on VPC (even though he was banned) at least now the VPC forum will know a little more then fitting dump valves and MBC's.

O and to answer your question regarding "particular individuals"..

This is a Volvo forum and potential "victims" should know the facts, good and bad before handing over their cash.

PS Chris was one of many who fall foul of Hamish.

So in this case, I'm thinking I may just buy a spare hub and see if my special big brake upgrade will fit without any tinkering off my st220..... Or if it's just a case of needing new carriers to house this little lot?
I may be tempted to stick my Bbs ch's on too

I have no idea about the people or events you are talking about BUT surely one of the purposes of a forum like this is to share info with each other so we can save money, get more enjoyment and avoid mistakes others have made. No offence to any of you gents but I do not know you or your credibility but if I was considering getting work done by someone I would appreciate your views either good or bad. I can then make up my own mind and either believe or disbelieve what you say.
