Blower fan vibrates
Good afternoon all, Just had my screen replaced by autoglass, and now when the heater blower runs there is a terrific vibration type noise, I'm thinking of contacting autoglass and asking them to inveterate this, as prior to the replacement screen there wasn't any problems with the blower fan.
Should I investigate the problem first, I'm wondering if there is screen adhesive or even body fixings down there. Any one know how to remove the blower fan? |

Did they remove the plastic grid, outside at the bottom of the windshield? They might have dropped something (like a screw) inside which went to locate right on the cabin blower fan. It can unbalance the fan and create vibrations. The only fix would be to remove the blower from under the dash (a 1.5h job) and clear the blades.

I just changed my blower due to vibrations and noise, bearings are worn. It is very hard to recycle the fan. buy new and replace. replacing is simple, just remove the glove compartment.

Great tip from Clan. Definitely go this way, as removing the blower is quite more hassle.
