Default Drum break puller

I am looking for a drum break puller tool, either to buy or borrow (ideally somewhere near Brighton/in Sussex area) as I'd like to inspect my rear breaks of my Amazon.
Anyone has a spare one they would like to sell or give away? Or is there someone nearby who could let me have it for a couple of weeks?

Based in Lancing (despite what it says on profile), I have a proper one you can borrow, as the Amazon is currently tucked up for winter.
Next Wednesday evening is the Sussex VOC section meeting, held at the Castle Hotel in Bramber (a couple of miles inland): I can fetch it there if you want to collect.
That's the earliest I can get it to you as I have to do child-minding work elsewhere until then.
Let me know if that suits you.

Many thanks Paul. I've sent you a private message. Look forward to meeting you next Weds.

Can't reply to PMs when at my sons, so just to advise I will be at the Sussex VOC section meeting at Bramber this evening. Castle Hotel (just about the largest building in the centre of the village) after 7.30pm. We usually have our own room round the back - it depends on hotel guests, so just ask at the bar. No dedicated theme, just a chat about cars!

Hi J - great to see you and your car last night. The first time I can recall that all 4 of us there at the beginning have Amazons!

However, just had a thought (rare for me!). Not trying to teach you the obvious, but before using the puller release the handbrake (after chocking other wheels) and slacken off the adjuster on the rear of the back plate, as once I had a problem until I realised the drum had worn a lot and the brake shoes had reset themselves into the larger-diameter bit of the drum, and resisted all attempts at drum removal. You should exercise care on that adjuster, as they often stick. A little WD may ease it but don't drench it as it might seep in and contaminate brake shoes.

Hope it goes well: as Roberts Ammo is green too we should aim to get them both together some time (when warmer!).

Hi P, great to meet you all on Weds and thanks for loaning the puller. Your advice is much appreciated by a novice like myself. Too busy with work this weekend to use the puller, will have to wait until next weekend
Yeah, getting all 4 Amazons together once warmer and lighter evenings would be great
Cheers
J
