Paypal, got one message saying he was sorting it out a week or so ago but still nothing! £100 down the toilet! I just want a non tatty steering wheel! His inbox is full again He appears to be a senior user as well!!

He has clearly been on since it was bought! Last online 30th Jan!

Open a case on Paypal for the transaction if you haven't already, if you have then escalate the case. You're given 180 days to open a case on any transaction and unless the seller can prove the item was delivered (tracked delivery) then the buyer is always refunded!
Mind, if you paid by Payment for Friends or Family then there is no cover.

Edit: Ah too late, hopefully he'll do the right thing and sort things out for you, he may be going through difficult personal circumstances for as far as we know? But then an update on the matter isn't hard!

Yeah - stuffed re: eBay but I am hoping if the word gets out, someone might know him personally and be able to get in touch!
