Spare/scrap 530 head
As above, condition isn't too much an issue as long as the ports are untouched.
It's only a practice piece for port matching a manifold. |

I've got a head doesn't have a cam or rocker cover but there's valves ectt..

531 head PLEASE
Looks as if my 531 head may be beyond effective repair - allegedly has been helicoiled once already and engineering companies are looking at it askance.
Anybody got a 531 head PLEASE - I would even consider and collect (within reason) a whole B230ET or GT engine - or a modified head that will bolt on in place of the 531 and be as good.

I've just removed a 530 head from my 940 - the head gasket was blown, and it has been replaced with an 80K recon 530 that I had waiting in the wings. It has done 160K and will need skimming/pressure testing & a bit of TLC, but as far as I'm aware the ports are untouched...

Sorry for late reply - head still had valves/camshaft but nothing else. The face of the inlet port adjacent to the thermostat housing (no. 1?) has had some slight abuse as the inlet manifold seemed to have corroded to the stud. I'm sure it could be made good with some TLC - if you PM me your email address I'll send a photo - not sure how to post them on here...
Does £100 sound like a fair price? To be honest, I wouldn't really be keen to let it go for much less as I was intending to get it reconditioned and have another spare. Let me know what you think...
