Default Gold bypass valve housing on turbo?

My TD04 (940 LPT) has an anodized gold CBV housing and I don't know who it's made by. It's very nicely made, machined very accurately and does it's job. The only thing is I need a new rubber O-ring for it and can't find any reference to this type of CBV to obtain one. All the TD04s I see online have the stock pressed metal housing which I think mate with a paper gasket.

Does anybody recognize this?

It's a bit like the forge one I have although mine is an external venting one. It could be worth asking them but it might be cheaper to get an O ring from a company who supply seals and gaskets.
I wonder why your car has that fitted ? It's either on there as an upgrade or because a previous owner couldn't find a good standard diaphragm.

Yeah the forge ones are the closest I've found. I think I'll just have to source an O-ring from a generic supplier like you say.

I'd still be interested to know if anybody has seen one before.

I know nothing about the history of the car or it's owners (long story) so finding clues like this when I'm working on the car makes it feel a little forensic. One thing I know is that one of it's owners must have had feet for hands judging by the amount of broken interior panels/clips/switches I had to replace.

It's nothing like a Forge one but it does look nice.
DIY O-ring kits can be bought pretty cheaply from screwfix or ebay etc.

It looks pretty.

Mine was looking very sorry so I was shown how to sandblast it at the garage. Came out much better.
