Will also be nice to have a car that hopefully won't anger people! My S40 seems to bring out the worst in people. I don't drive aggressively or fast (have nothing to prove) but I get cut up at almost every junction/roundabout.
Strange, your S40 just brings out the best in me.

I never seem to have any trouble when I'm in the S40, but I was driving a brand new hybrid Lexus the other day (hire car for work) and have never experienced such hatred from other road users...

You bought a car famed for ownership by merchant bankers and freemasons and are surprised people hate you for it? :-p

Nope, I didn't buy it, it was a hire car - presumably all of Enterprise's stock of crappy small Hyundai's were off the road!

Received a letter this morning saying I've been done for speeding :/

46mph in a 40mph road, last Tuesday, on a road which I've always thought was a 60, so I'm surprised I've not been done in the last two years I've been driving 60 up there!

Up Thomas Lewis way at 1:53pm - Confused as I have lunch from 12-1 and don't tend to go up that way till 5/6pm ish.

Really ****ed off as I was over at the girlfriends yesterday when her neighbours (group of teen lads at uni) threw a stupidly noisy 'get together' in their garden with loud (sh*t') music from 11pm-5:30am in the morning, could feel the bass through our floor - Got no sleep at all - Called the Police at around 4am and they refused to come out, said noise disturbance isn't their issue and there's nothing they can do. Oh, but wasting everybody's tax payers money with a f**king radar gun in the middle of the day is a good use of their time is it?

The respect I once had for the Police has been going down massively over the last few years, it's all about stats and not the community these days!

the trick is to phone them up and tell them you have a verminous chav impaled on your kitchen knife and if they come soon you'll stop hitting him with the baseball bat

then get them to turn down the sound so you can discuss what they may or may not have misunderstood from your phone call.

What colour did you go for? Can't decide if it's green, white or blue in the pic :P

I've replaced the six bulbs behind the controls on my radio. Mange to find some 12V blue grain of wheat LED's. Going to do the LCD screen next on the radio (just waiting on a donor radio to come so I can practise on that). Then it's only the window / mirror controls in the doors, then my S40 is all blue LED inside

Do what we did, phone from a mobile and say there's a fight at a party amazed how quick they are then! But yeah noise pollution they don't give a crap about have to complain to the council who also do **** all. Best bet is the Landlords if your girlfriend knows who they are.
