Bye bye C30, it was fun :(

Well the inevitable has finally happened; Laura has finally relinquished grip of the C30's keys, (I promise no muscle relaxants were used in the process!) and it has now gone to a new home. My mother!!!

Yes the serial supercar owner has decided her precious pooch is banned from her DB9 and wanted a dog car. We need the cash and having had no luck selling my S40, I commissioned a new windscreen for the C30 and on the cusp of clocking 100k miles it's gone. It hasn't gone far though so we'll still see it and use it whenever it's needed but for now we are both using the S40 and looking at potential replacement. Someone is resisting my XC90 idea because she refuses to drive one but I hope to win her over haha.

I'm happy with the sale, the car hasn't cost us a penny since September and I sold it for what I paid for it, I'm not into ripping people off and it's my mother who's the new owner anyway so we agreed on £3800 which all in for a 100k 08 plate C30 1.6 S isn't too bad IMO.

In other news, Toby has finally engaged his head so with some luck Laura can have a natural birth but we still have the C-Section booking for the 28th July, 1 day before my Birthday! It's all going well at last, well apart from the damn cat which has developed dodgy knees the poor girl. Thank god she's insured. It's only me and the dog with good health these days haha.

Anyway, onwards and upwards and all that, just need to get some chocolate to console the ex C30 owner lol. Anybody know how much chocolate I would need to convince her to let me blow the house extension budget on an XC90?

Would have to run it past my mother but I'm not sure she'd even want to; she doesn't like driving my car but I make her do it because I'm a horrible human being lol
