Correct, the D4 181 BHP engine prior to MY16 gets 200 BHP with polestar. At least that's what I understand.

The V40 D4 vea is on paper 188hp (190) so the 7hp difference is small between the 2 especially on the heavier XC60 particularly as but is measured at the peak which most people do not use, it's all about the low down power increasing drivability I have always thought.

So whats the difference in torque and rpm between a (190) D4 and a 181? To lazy to google myself sorry.

Good to find this thread here... I am somewhat relieved to find the D4 190 is considered a different car...

With my D4 (auto) I got a nice reduction in emissions and therefore in tax to be paid, compared to the previous company car. Looking at the new catalogue and finding 20% BIK rate was a bit of a worry...
