Motor Mods said that it is not possible to fit an autodim mirror to my V40 (even an aftermarket one), as it didn't have the power seats! Fail to see a connection between the two, but I suppose Volvo have a logical explanation that makes sense. Still haven't yet got to talk to the dealer about this - had other issues with the car to deal with...

"power seats"?? Quite! Yet more of the utter nonsense that Volvo have been putting out about this car. I would really like to meet one of these numpties face to face! They have ruined my whole Volvo "experience".
As I posted elsewhere, the Gentex autodim mirror can of course be fitted, so long as you put in your own power supply, separate from the built-in supply which originates from god knows where. (And I thought my Audi was a can of copper worms!!!)
