Hi Andrew I take it all memory of where and when you saw the car has slipped your mind? Shame your "damage" memory seems to be so exaggerated. Memory can play tricks on you though, happens to me more often than I like.

I was in the Reading area the day before the Auction Sale and hence went there for a browse, and looked at the Volvo's within.

I am with Doves on this one. I am not a customer I am midlands based, I sense that there is something unsavoury about this nonsense.

So not July then. Auction was the first of July. Then 9 days later post a warning on the forum? Why would you chase up a car you felt was damaged and put an offer on it three weeks later to the person that bought it? The cills aren't even a big deal, just easily replaceable plastic mouldings and the photos don't verify your damage description anyway. All seems too weird to me. Why didn't you take photos if you felt it so important you had to post on the forum and chase the car up?
