Default V50 diesel warm start problems

Hi all

I posted previously about warm start problems I'm having with a v50 diesel 2005. I'm getting a glow relay error code but been told this is unlikely to be cause. Research says crank sensor could be the culprit. If so, would I have gotten an error code for this? If not, is it an easy thing to replace and whereabouts is it?

Thanks all

crank sensor tends to rear its ugly head when engine is hot ..if ecu is giving you error code for plugs go with that first

Why would you change glow plugs for a hot start issue?

O..P. The crank sensor reads the movement of the flywheel so is usually located near the starter motor.
They are testable but access can be a problem on lots of engines.
