Manual Gearbox Oil
Hi. One thing I've never done on my 240 is change of gearbox oil. I've had the car since Dec 03. Has done 65k miles in that time.
I guess its due? Tho' did have a clutch replacement in Feb 04' would gearbox oil be done during as a matter of course? I gather ATF type f is correct..... Had a look online. Amazon do a 'similar to type f' by Redline. Will that do, or does anyone know of a good supplier. Struggling to find over here....

Box oil is unlikely to have been changed during a clutch replacement.
Although ATF is recommended by Haynes I queried Opie oils a while ago and they advised that the original recommendations made by Volvo are better served by putting something like Redline MT90 in. This is what I put in my box (M47), works well. Opie will post, MT90 is also available on Amazon.
