I travel 7 mile to work and 7 miles back each day and it can take between 20 to 40 mins depending on traffic, I don't do long runs very often now, an 80 mile round trip a few times a year. Will DPF cause problems for me. It seems most of these cars are diesel and very few petrol around. Like BMW once you move to a 5 series hundreds of diesels around and a handful of petrol. Having a diesel over petrol saves me money even though I do less than 5000 miles a year because of speed humps everywhere where I live. Humps increase fuel consumption by 30% and this was researched by the AA and RAC who both came out with 30% figure. No wonder labour loved them so much with all the extra revenue from fuel duty. Speed humps are pollution causers.
