My 2.0l C30 petrol got what ever I grabbed at the pump. Most of the time E10 and sometimes even E85... Depending on what temperature it was outside. And I would still floor the car on the Autobahn. Pinking or preigniting wasn't noticed once. Nor was it knocking...
Again, how is the timing? Is it SPOT ON? Has the chain been tensioned correctly?
