Looking for a good scrap yard for volvo's
Looking for a good scrap yard for volvo's in the west midlands (live near kidderminster) that has lots of Volvos and is not a rip off. Looking for (still) an air mass meter for my 240 and some other parts for my 940 and new parts cost far to much (amm is £200).
Thanks for any ideas. Regards Griz |

you could try http://www.7-day-autospares.co.uk/ based in digbeth so not a million miles from kiddy but not sure on 240 parts. also http://www.cpmotors-volvo.co.uk/ in polesworth near tamworth so a little further but they have a broad range of models on the psrts sheet. never used either personally so cannot commnet on service. hope that helps cheers scott |

Thanks for the sites, been trying to get a used parts price out of cp-motors for an air mass meter, but have got no answer. Gave me a price for a new one in less than a day!!!

Thanks very much for the link, totaly forgot about e-bay, looks like 0-280-212-018 not 016, but that could be just some dust, will ask him about it, let you know, and thanks again.

It is the 016, and i have won the item. Thanks very much for all the help, just proves what a helpful bunch Volvo owners are!! And proves that joining the club is the best thing i ever did to my Volvo.

If you need anything else , try Volvo Valley - advertises in the Club Mag , Based just south of Derby.Specialises in breaking all Volvo models. I had bits for a 1982 244 GLT delivered the following day to Portsmouth! It also turned out that the chap who owns it used to live 3 doors away from me & we went to the same school!!
