Default Rough idle and poor warm start

Hello,

New to the site and to Volvo ownership. I have an 2006 S40 2.0D SE Sport with 91k on the clock. Which I think after looking at some pics on the net is the D416T? Here it is:

I'd like some advice on a rough idle and poor warm start. When the engine is idling it misses a beat now and then. Nothing dramatic, not enough to been seen as a change in the rev counter but its defiantly there. No codes in computer...

I can see some bubbles in the fuel line when I rev the engine:

+ YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

Also when the engine is warm it sometimes starts on only a few? cylinders. So it runs, but with no response from the throttle and sounds like a petrol engine does when it runs on, barely turning over. I have to switch off and back on again then it starts ok.

I'm worried this is the beginnings of something that might get worse?

Any pointers gratefully received!

I would do an injector test (or leak off test). Most likely one of your injectors is kaput... Check out this video on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbQhKjj6jis

Second the failing injector as the reason for your misfire problem . Perform the leak off test if you are feeling you can do so . The faaulty injetor is the one that fills the test pipe the most . There are many videos on youtube detailing the procedure .

Thanks guys. I'll do the leak test this weekend and post the results.
