Default car stereo not wanting to save settings at all please help

Hello guys, so i just fitted an JVC stereo into my volvo v40 and its working its just that it wont saving any eq settings or anything that i do wont get stored. Now i have been checking and it says on car audio install website that you have to change the wires around or move them. Not sure which wire to move or were to connect, if anybody knows how to fix this problem the easier way that would be great.

Cheers.

I am gonna be buying some car speakers used, can you test them using a battery because it says on the car audio website you can, cause the last thing i want to do is purchase some blown speakers as its happened to me before. Check this one as well car audio website arrticle 2. I want sort out the car audio system in this car to make it sound a bit better, more after sound quality and loudness. If am on a budget so i cant really spend much now with kids coming on the way and my work has reduced my hours atm.

If there is a red and yellow wire to the stereo, it sounds like they need to be swapped. The battery power and switched power wires vary on cars. There should be a bullet connector that allows them to be swapped.
