Default New V70 T5 owner 1st service advice

Just about to order some parts from Euro Car Parts and just wanted some quick advice. Will the following be okay? I have read some older posts but it seems there are 20 differing opinions!

TRIPLE QX Engine Oil (5w40 Fully Synthetic (For PD engines) Engine Oil 5Ltr)

TRIPLE QX Antifreeze (Blue Ready Mixed Antifreeze/Coolant - 1ltr)

Thanks in advance!

The t5 is a more performance based engine and deserves better than euro car parts cheapest. Coolant should be Volvo And the oil should be of a well known brand.

There's only one opinion which matters and that's the owner's handbook.
Match the spec, match the viscosity for your climate, choose synthetic, semi or mineral (hopefully synthetic), buy your oil.
Same as every car.

Why are you buying 1 litre of ready mix coolant?

I'll be going to a main dealer! Can I get what I need from a ford garage? I have one very local, Volvo main dealer is a 20 mile drive! They use the T5 engine in a few of their cars right?

They do indeed I use the europarts stuff in both my T5's and one of them is on 210k , as long as it's synthetic it holds up just fine. Having said that, there are some really good deals on Castrol at the moment if you want the peace of mind that goes with a brand.
Ps I only ever use Volvo coolant it lasts for years and years.

Which ever oil you get, it must be A5/B5
