Evening!

So my mechanic spent 3 days on this. Scratching his head and trying all sorts of different things. He even had another couple of mechanics come and look at it. In the end he primed the engine and got it going again although he was worried it might happen again. I drove from Doncaster to London last night no problems at all. I started the car earlier no problem and then tonight it's doing absolutely the same thing again and turning over but not starting. He thinks it's a pressure related issue.
If anyone has any suggestions it'd be greatly appreciated.

give that pressure control valve on the main HP pump a hit ! Assuming you have a new fuel filter on of course .

Im not sure if the fuel filter has been replaced. I can check with green flag when they come out. Thanks for your help. This is all going to be handy when I have someone looking at the car again later

Have you actioned my advice above yet ? In post #12 ? That is what the first code points to ! Also move the wiring around near that valve see if it starts .

Not yet. But I will be doing shortly once the mechanic shows up.

They're left completely baffled once again. We did plenty of tapping on the pressure control valve on the main HP pump to no avail. There seems to be no diesel getting pumped to the engine. Yet when they primed it the other day it worked fine. I drove for 2 days and did about 200 miles. But the second it was left stood on my drive for about 6 hours it was dead again

It could be the valve .. This is the worlds most common car and van diesel engine at the moment so they should have some experience of this before on all sorts of makes . It would be worth getting a used one to try .. if there is fuel at the filter inlet and you have changed the filter worth a shot .

Looks like it might be a dead fuel tank pump
