Replacing AC Compressor - How much oil to add?
Hi,
As per a recent post, I need to replace a high pressure hose, the condenser and the compressor on my AC system. Based on some reading I've done it sounds like I need to add some oil to the refrigerant when I refill the system. If my system was totally drained by the dealership prior to me replacing the parts does anyone know if I should just put the full amount of PAG100 oil in i.e. 32oz (I think)? I'm new to AC work but I've got a co-worker with the proper gauges, etc. Just want to make sure I get this part right.

let me ask that differently: I'm aware that I need to add a certain # of ounces of PAG100 oil to the compressor itself before refilling the system. Do I also need to add oil to the refrigerant itself?
