Default Late C70 Headlights,any better?

My C70 is suffering from the usual dull headlight reflectors.I really wanted a set of projectors, but can't afford it at the moment.I've found a breaker with a 2004 car which has the later lights, they do look really shiny but wondered if anyone had experience of both types of light & if they're worth getting. Also, what do you reckon is a good price? Cheers,Tim.

I retro fitted the crystal headlights to my first C70 (2000 model) and it made a noticable difference - especially if you remove the glass first and carefully and gently clean the reflectors. I say that becuase the shiny coating is very fragile. I think it much improves the look of the car as well without it looking modified.

The later headlights are in demand and I have seen people pay as much as £250 for a set (with indicators and grill).

The also look great retro fitted to a Mk 1 V70/S70

They are well worth fitting, I fitted a set to my v70 a while back now and found the difference to be a minimum of 25% better than my old standard headlights.
That is with the standard 55w bulbs too.
I got a set on here, keep an eye on the sales section they do turn up from time to time.
Try and get the clear indicator lenses at the same time as it matches the headlights well.
