Default vvt pulley removal

I need to remove the vvt pulley off my t4 which I am breaking (only thing left on the car worth removing). I have been told I need a tool to lock the cams in order to undo the pulley itself. So does anyone know where the best place to get one is? or any ideas on a 'bodge' way of getting it off or makeshift tool I can create please folks. The engine is pretty much no good so as long as I get the pulley off in tact I don't care what damage is created.

Put it in 1st gear, crack off the centre big torx fitting then undo everything else BEFORE you cut the cambelt.

okay I didn't think I could do that. Only issue I will have with that is I sold the gear linkage but I could still select the gears using whats left of the arms on the gearbox is I can work out the positions.

do you know the size of the torx I havnt removed the covers yet.
