Default Anyone removed a S70 rear screen?

Anyone tried to remove a bonded rear screen ? I've got rust under the rubber which is now letting water in so I want to repair it but I've never tried removing / refitting a bonded rear screen diy style.

Depends how bad it is, but it's likely to be easier to fix the rust working 'round the screen. Removing and re-installing it is probably harder than the rest of the job. You really don't wanna be removing those things unless you absolutely have to.

Just dont really..
Let a windscreen company remove it and refit. It will be a lot less hassle and no doubt work out cheaper as the bonding and primer for the glass is not the cheapest.

I paid an independent windscreen company to remove and refit a side window on a V70's load compartment and the cost was £50.

Cheers for the replys,

I think its going to be difficult to repair in situ as its under the rubber that sits flush to the bodywork and I'm guessing this isn't removable and probably attached to the screen? At best maybe I can stop it leaking for now but it needs sorting at some point 😣
