Hi Folks ! I Know That Volvo Sell An Adaptor To Run An Ipod Through The Standard Volvo Stereo .has Anyone Any Tips On Fitting Same !

You might get a better response if you post in the general V70 forum as this one relates more to performance modifications than audio ones. I presume your car is later than 2000 as the Volvo adapter doesn't work with the earlier cars (and may not even work with the those from the early 2000s)

I fitted one of these to my 2004 S60R

I've fitted a few of these kits, depends what spec your car is to how hard they are to fit or should i say how long it will take you,

if your cars already prewired for a cd changer or has sat nav then your sorted but if not you have to run cable from front to rear of car aswell

I've had the USA Spec ipod adaptor fitted to a V70 without Sat Nav and HU803 stereo - took about 45 minutes and didn't need a lead from front to rear as the unit was fitted near the glove compartment.

I now have the Volvo ipod adaptor fitted to my current XC70 with both Sat Nav and TV - again, took less than an hour and no extra wires except ont from the boot under the rear seat and into the gap between the front seats.

Fully recommended.
