How deep are your pockets for postage. They are not uncommon in Australia, except these cars have almost no market value here. A complete rust free car can be had for a couple of hundred Dollars, but most still go to scrap. Very sad, and I wish I had room to park them as they're vanishing. I have a few spare racks put aside, as do others I know.

Hello Davidthu,
I don't know the rate for shipping two power steering boxes and pitman arms from Australia to Germany. I know there is a hughe difference in both ways. From GB or Germany to Australia is very expensive, the direction from you to us is half of, or near by half of. The same between Germany and Great Britain, this direction is a lot of cheaper than the other way. If you don't mind to ask why not? Al did offer me a box incl parts, till now he couldn't find time to collect for bad luck. My 144 is an the lift since august last year and he needs a lot of panels, and a power steering box. Power steering because of tyre dimension: 215/80 R 15 :-) Please make me a offer for two power steering boxes and pitman arms incl transport to Germany, maybe I can't say no. Best regards, Kay |

As the original post was for a power-steering box for a 164 I thought I'd advise that Volvo 140-models didn't have power steering as standard. Similarly neither had racks - both relied on boxes using the worm-and-nut principle.
I have heard that some have interchanged components, so deviation from the norm is possible. P |
