Default Front door rubber seal

I need to replace the drivers side as it has perished/rubbed away in he middle, anyone replaced one and got any tips?

If you are talking about the seal that goes around the top of the door opening, just pull the old one off and push the new one on. A gentle thump all round with the palm of your hand should suffice. Tuck both ends in under the trim and job done.

If it is the seal attached to the door, a bit more complicated. You will need a smear of washing up liquid on the lip of the seal to act as lube and feed it in to the retaining groove with a flat bladed knife. A paint stripping knife or a table knife will be ideal. A bit fiddly and needs a 'knack' to feed the rubber seal into the door groove.

When refitting, do the top edge first, beginning with the rear-most corner and working forwards from there.
