Default Help! Volvo Vs. Cadillac

Hey Everyone!

I love the volvo S60, however I have been hearing a lot of buzz about the new Cadillac CTS. Has anyone out there ever considered purchasing a Cadillac? If so, what made you decide for or against it?

I think the main niggle with the American cars coming into the UK market at the moment is the build quality. I absolutely love the neww Caddys and Chrysler 300C but they aren't bolted together very well. If you are serious I would go and have a poke around one and drive it. The interiors are apparently pretty plasticky but many use euro switchgear. I can't remember but I think Cadillac use Saab switchgear or is it Merc engines?? But the fact remains that they aren't put together too well.
I'm all for individuality which is why I went for an S60 over a BMW or Audi but I think a Caddy would be a brave venture!! Good luck though as they look very nice.
