Indicator stalk

I'm after a indicator stalk the one on my car when you pull it towards you my main beam don't stay on. Being as I've just moved to the country side not to good when in driving down to lanes in the dark. If someone can help please let me know. Oh yeah it's a ph2 2001 model thanks in advance Billy

Have you tried that with the headlamp switch in the "on" position? The stalk should then toggle beam on and off.

No I haven't if I'm honest I'll try that when I get back in the morning lol

Assuming the above is not the cause (I spent a 15 mile trip holding on high beam not long after getting my v40 before realising!) I have a stalk available. It's probably the right one. It was on my car (2003 1.9 td) when I got it, but turns out it wasn't the original and was the older version not the 2002-4 that was needed.
