Stupid question air filter 740 turbo
Has anyone got any top tips for removing the lid on the air-filter box? Talk about a pain because everything is in the way, radiator hose, turbo hose and EFI connector? Is it just a case of removing turbo inlet hose and disconnecting EFi connector and using a tad of persuasion around the rad hose.
Also where's the best place to get a "decent" filter from? GSF or main stealers? Ali

In relation to removing the cover, it is a bit fiddly. You can remove the MAF connector and refit it after the airfilter change while the ignition is off. If you forget to reconnect it, and start the engine, the Lambda light will come on. If this happens, just reconnect the MAF and reset the light. Be careful with the clips on the cover itself as they are known to break the plastic housing. ivor940
