Ok here's the problem. A few days ago my headlights would go off for a second and then come on again with no further trouble until the next time they were switched on. Then when high beam was being selected the headlights went off completely and came back on after high beam was switched off. Now what is happening is high beam doesn't work at all and the headlights are working fine but as I said no high beam. I have checked fuses, bulbs and everything else I can think of, and was wondering if there is a relay of some kind hidden away somewhere or any other ideas anyone may think of. Thanks in advance.

There is a headlight relay somewhere. Under the bonnet next to the battery I think?

if the high beam is ok when the headlights are 'flashed' then no good when turned on via the dipswitch from dipped then it sounds like the dipswitch is at fault.
Hav'nt you got a wiring diagram ? There may be one on the diagrams on the voc site. If not I will dig mine out and have a look. vaughan vjck_uk |
